In Vehicle Assembly & Test

When testing in-car entertainment systems, various tests are performed to certify the car’s adherence to the design specification across all bands - AM, FM and DAB. These tests are in relation to frequency response, distortion and signal-to-noise ratios, and are carried out by advanced equipment which provide RF signal inputs and give a detailed picture of the output signals which are to be ‘fed’ to the vehicle loudspeakers.

On top of this, auxiliary audio inputs including USB, Bluetooth or satellite navigation, are also tested. Any other radio functions, such as GPS, are testable by further integrated equipment in the tester.
