Instrument Cluster Assembly & Testing
ALPHR have years of experience assembling reliable and fully-functioning instrument clusters, as well as carrying out instrument cluster testing. We assemble instrument clusters in a variety of machine configurations, ranging from simple assembly benches to the automated rotary of palletised systems. Designed for their ease of use, with automated work instructions and a range of Poka-yoke checks, the correct assembly of parts is checked using barcode readers, vision systems and a range of suitable sensors.
Following their assembly, the instrument clusters’ individual gauges are calibrated and validated using vision systems to certify the correctness and accuracy of the indicated values. As well as this, checks for basic function, colour and brightness are carried out on warning lamps. LCD or TFT screens in instrument clusters are tested accordingly with customers’ requirements, with any other ancillary functions within the instrument, such as visual warning systems, also checked.
