Introducing our New Romanian Branch!April 3, 2014
Over the past couple of years, we have experienced tremendous growth and development at ALPHR Technology, both here in the UK and throughout Europe, and our brand new site in Romania is a fantastic demonstration of the growth we’ve all enjoyed.
Located in Arad, in the West of the country, our new branch will allow us to progress further within the European market, and it is with great excitement that we can now introduce it to our employees, clients and suppliers here in the UK!
The full design and manufacturing site in Romania is spread over 600 square metres – of which the production floor takes up 400 square metres and the offices and employee facilities cover 200 square metres. Conveniently situated on the north side of Arad, the ALPHR Technology branch has direct and easy access to the town ring and transport links, allowing us to cover the whole of mainland Europe, including Hungary, Austria, Slovakia and Czech Republic.
Huge Range of Products and Services
The Romanian branch of ALPHR Technology offers a variety of assembly line, testing and inspection services, working to the same practices as us here in Hertfordshire. The Romanian team provide mechanical design, electrical design and pneumatic design as well as offering a range of assembly, machine installation, warranty and post-warranty services. They also provide process evaluation services for assembly and manufacturing lines, including PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis), and offer a professional consultancy service for soldering, coating, assembly technologies and workstation ergonomics.
In order to effectively provide our huge variety of services, we have a wide product range in Romania. From innovative poka-yoke devices and robot assembly and handling, to automated assembly machines incorporating sophisticated vision inspection and traceability systems, all of our products can be tailored to the individual needs of each client and the specifications of the job in hand.
We also have a small tool shop onsite which is available for mechanical parts production and changes. The tool shop includes a circular saw, vertical saw, lathe, milling machine, grinding machine and, from May 2014, a CNC mill – all of which offer great flexibility and allow us to provide extremely fast reaction times in the event of emergencies.
In addition, we are very proud to announce that our Romanian office have an official KUKA System partnership, allowing us to work closely with one of the world’s leading suppliers of robotics and plant and systems engineering.
